Who leads your work
One senior organisation design expert leads your question from start to finish. Around that person is a small group of senior experts we bring in per question, for sector knowledge or for a specific piece of expertise. Each of them has at least 15 years of organisation design experience, in consulting or inside a large company.

We are based in the Netherlands and work mostly across Europe, in English or Dutch.
What we take on
Our capacity is limited, so we only take on work where we believe we can make it succeed, and if we do not, we tell you upfront.
Founded and run by Arno van den Bergh
He started in consulting almost twenty years ago and has worked across Europe and Asia ever since. Most recently he was a Human Capital Partner at Deloitte, responsible for organisation design in the Netherlands and across EMEA. Before that he was Global Head of Organisation Design at Standard Chartered Bank, at Managing Director level. He led a team of fifteen specialists covering Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, based in Singapore.
From early on he was most interested in one question: how a company should be organised so that the work actually gets done, and who decides what. After twenty years he finds that the analysis is rarely the hard part, and AI makes it easier every year. The people are not the hard part either, because almost everyone wants a company that runs clearly. What is hard is making the decision, when a lot of people have an opinion and it takes months before anyone chooses.
He has advised companies from the outside and had to live with the result on the inside, and that second part is what he brings to executives: how you get a design through when different parts of the company want different things.
Alongside Spine he builds and owns his own businesses, Vitality Brands Europe and the LivingGreens brand among them, where he deals with customers, suppliers and margins himself. He sets the quality standard for Spine and reviews every recommendation, and he takes on only a few clients himself each year, and the rest of the work is done by the other senior experts in the group.
